1. Important – be sure to read this BEFORE you process your model
Make sure that all the required files are included in the upload:
Files |
Format | Other specifications |
OBJ and MTL Files | Wavefront OBJ
Textures | *.jpg or *.png | Resolution not more than 8192x8192 pixel, not more than 100 pieces |
Kameraparameterdatei | ATExport XML
original images | *.jpg or *.png |
- The camera file must be exported in Block Exchange XML format.
- The textures must always have a power of two as the number of pixels. Here, the highest resolution of a texture may be 8192x8192 pixels. The textures must be in *.jpg or *.png format. The number of textures must not exceed 100.
- Check your camera file (XML) again before uploading. Make sure that all images you want to see in TWINPSECT are present in this camera file. (During the upload your data will be validated again. Again, check the number of images in the validation overview).
- Please read the step by step instructions carefully. The red marked parts are very important and decide about the successful upload of your project.
2. Export your TWINSPECT® model
Export local
Export OBJ
Submit a new ContextCapture production for the 3D mesh in the OBJ wavefront format. See below for the format options. By this, an OBJ file of the model with the corresponding textures will be generated.
The texture compression is freely selectable.
Make sure that the Spatial Reference System is set to local.
Export Camera file
After exporting the model into the OBJ format, export the block properties into a XML file. For this, please click on “Block” - ”Export” - “Export block…” (see screenshot below).
Then, the following dialog will show up. Please select the “ATExport XML format” and click on “Export block”. By this, a new XML file for the block properties will be generated.
Export georeferenced (EPSG)
Export OBJ
Submit a new ContextCapture production for the 3D mesh in the OBJ wavefront format. See below for the format options. By this, an OBJ file of the model with the corresponding textures will be generated.
The texture compression is freely selectable.
Please enter the correct EPSG code for your project in the "Spatial Reference System" tab.
If you are unsure which EPSG code your project has, please upload an image to https://srs.twinsity.com, copy the EPSG code and paste it into the “Coordinate System” field (unfold and press more).
