The photo panel is a Twinspect module that allows the integration of the original high-resolution images that were used to create the photogrammetry model that is displayed in the 3D panel. The photos are linked to the corresponding elements in the 3D model, so you can navigate between the photos through the 3D model. The photos can be annotated and the annotations can be selected in the annotation panel to be part of a Twinspect report. The photo panel is divided into the “Photo Viewer” and the” Photo Browser” below. The photo panel can be shown or hidden by the respective button in the toolbar.
7.1 2D Panel Settings
To access the 2D panel settings, press the three dots in the upper right corner.
The following menu opens:
7.1.1 Show a minimap in the 2D panel.
7.1.2 Show/hide a green spotlight on the selected location in the 3D model in the 2D panel
7.1.3 Show/hide annotations in all images that show the location.
7.1.4 Show/hide the metadata of the selected Image
7.1.5 Download raw image
Download the selected image.
7.2 Annotation Tool
1. Add Rectangle
When this button is selected, the next left click on the image sets the first of four points for a rectangle. The next left click must also be on the image.
With a click on "Edit Shape" you can edit the annotation.
With "Finish" the editing mode is over, so that you can now only move the annotation.
2. Add Circle
When this button is selected, the next left click on the image sets the center point for a circle. The next left click must also be on the image and sets the circumference of the circle.
With a click on "Edit Shape" you can edit the annotation.
With "Finish" the editing mode is over, so that you can now only move the annotation.
3. Add Line
When this button is selected, the next left click on the image sets the first of two points for a line. The next left click must also be on the image.
With a click on "Edit Shape" you can edit the annotation.
With "Finish" the editing mode is over, so that you can now only move the annotation.
4. Add Path
When this button is selected, the next left click in the image sets the first of several points for a path. The next left click must also be on the image. To end the path, perform a double left click.
With a click on "Edit Shape" you can edit the annotation.
With "Finish" the editing mode is over, so that you can now only move the annotation.
5. Add Area
When this button is selected, the next left click in the image sets the first of several points for a range. The next left click must also be on the image. To end the area, perform a double left click, the end line will be drawn between the first and the last point.
Forward/Backward
After you create a distance, path or area annotation, the line/area can move through the image.
With a click on "Edit Shape" you can edit the annotation.
With "Finish" the editing mode is over, so that you can now only move the annotation.
7.3 Photo Browser
The photo browser contains all photos that are the basis of the 3D model. When a photo is selected in the photo browser, it will be shown in full resolution in the photo viewer. The photos in the photo browser can be filtered and sorted. Its behavior and the functionality of the photo browser toolbar is described below.
