This guide shows how to export the Bentley ContextCapture project into model and block files to be imported into TwinSpect.
1. Export Production in OBJ Format
Submit a new ContextCapture production for the 3D mesh in the OBJ wavefront format. See below for the format options. By this, an OBJ file of the model with the corresponding textures will be generated.
2. Export Block in ATExport XML Format
After exporting the model into the OBJ format, export the block properties into a XML file. For this, please click on “Block” à ”Export” à “Export block…” (see screenshot below).
Then, the following dialog will show up. Please select the “ATExport XML format” and click on “Export block”. By this, a new XML file for the block properties will be generated.
