Once you have finished with your inspection you are able create an report out of all the annotations that you have made. The report function is started via the corresponding button in the Titlebar. Reports are styled according to a default PDF-style that is part of Twinspect®. Reports contain all photo annotations in the order of the tree in the Annotation Panel.
11.1. Twinspect® Report Window:
In the top left of the screen you have the Create Report button. By clicking on it you will open a new window.
Title
The title is printed on the title page as well as in the header of all other pages and can be used for reference.
Summary
This free text field allows you to freely enter a text describing the results of the report. It is not limited in terms of characters. It will be printed on the first pages of the report after the title page and before the actual annotations.
Author
This field can be used to specify the name of one or more participants mentioned in the author field on the title page.
Company
Enter the name of one or several companies, departments or organizations that are to be associated with the report.
Company Logo
It is possible to upload an image file with a logo, which will then be used as a logo at the appropriate place in the report.
Issue Date
The date specified here is printed in the report on the title page.
Sign with EOS Blockchain
If this checkbox is ticked, the report will be signed by the EOS Blockchain. For the details regarding this process see Blockchain. The Blockchain Signature Process is described below.
History
In this table, all reports that have been generated are listed. Next to the Issue Date (“Created at”) is the information if the Report has been signed with Blockchain and a possibility to re-download the report.
Create Report and Cancel
By clicking on "Create Report…", the report is generated in the background and signed if necessary. This process can take up to several minutes, as the signing process in particular is time-consuming and takes place outside TwinSpect, so we have no influence on it. A loading spinner indicates that the process is still active. At the end of the process, the PDF-file download starts according to the browser settings.
