The project overview has two tabs: "Projects" and "Public Projects". "Projects" list contains all the non-public accessible projects that you have created and shared. "Public projects" are publicly viewable and can be edited regardless of the organizational unit.

To import new projects in TWINSPECT®, click on the "Create" button. 

 

Details

Project-Title

Create a name for your project.

 

Asset type

Select the type of structure of your model. The available options are: Tower, Platform, Bridge, House, Roof, Something Else / Other.

 

Reconstruction Software

Specify the photogrammetry software used to calculate the model. The available options are: RealityCapture, Metashape, ContextCapture.

Under "Select Source Folder", select the folder containing the data with which the project is to be calculated.

Depending on the browser, select "View files" to display the images.

 

Uploading the project data

The project data is uploaded. The upload progress is displayed in the loading bar.

If the upload is interrupted, it can be continued later.

 

Deleting a project or project draft

The projects drafts, which are not fully loaded, can be removed by clicking the trash bin icon.

 

2.2. Sharing projects

New users can be added or removed by assigning a project.

The basic details (mashes, models, pictures, users, location) of the project can also be viewed here.

In the "Manage users" window, a new collaborator can be assigned, using the corresponding email address. The access to the project is managed using the checkbox to the right of the assigned user. To withdraw access, tick the checkbox next to the user's name and press "Withdraw access for [number] user" button. You can manage the access to the project for several users at once.

 

2.3. Edit project details

To add, edit, or remove the details of your project, click the edit symbol in the top right corner. A new window, with more information about the project, will open. 

 

Project-Title

Describes the title of the project. Cannot be changed.

 

Asset Type

The Asset type describes the type of the structure. Cannot be changed.

 

Asset-Description

Other notes and information about the structure.

 

Project-Description

Other notes and information about the TWINSPECT® project.

 

Tags

Tags that help to find the project faster via the search function.

 

Inspection Date

Date of building inspection.

 

Asset Location

The address and the exact location of the structure.

 

Other

By checking the checkbox, the project will be displayed either in the "Projects" or "Public projects" section.
