Finding and opening your projects

Finding and opening your projects

Projects is where you land when you sign in. It lists every project in the workspace you are currently in.

Finding a project

Type in the search box above the list. You can also sort by clicking a column heading.

The list only shows projects from the workspace you are in. If it looks shorter than you expect, check which workspace is selected. See Signing in and finding your way around.

Opening a project

Click a row to open the project's details panel, where you can see its information and settings without leaving the list.

To go straight to the model, use Open in 3D. You can also middle-click or ⌘/Ctrl-click a project name to open it in a new tab.

What the details panel shows

Tab Contents
Details Name, description, asset type, and the project's own settings
Location Where the asset is, on a map
Files The files the project was built from
Links Addresses of documents kept outside Twinsity. See Linking to documents stored elsewhere
Members Who has access, and with what role

Which tabs you see depends on your permissions. If you cannot view a project's files or members, those tabs do not appear.

Press Escape to close the panel and return to the list.

Project drafts are somewhere else

A project still uploading lives under Project Drafts until processing finishes, not in this list. See Uploading, pausing and resuming.
