Signing in and finding your way around
Sign in and you land on Projects, showing the projects in your current workspace.
The left rail

You only see what your role allows. A rail with fewer entries than a colleague's is expected.
Organization and workspace
At the top is the picker showing where you are. Projects, profiles and members all belong to the workspace you are in.
A short project list usually means you are in the wrong workspace. It is the first thing to check.
Browsing versus switching
The picker does two different things:
- Browsing: opening the picker and looking through workspaces. Nothing changes yet.
- Switching: choosing one. Now the rest of the app follows.
So opening the picker and closing it again leaves you where you were, even though you have been reading another workspace's name. Look at what the picker shows when closed to know where you actually are.
Opening a project
Click it for its details, or Open in 3D to go straight to the model. Inside a project the layout changes: the rail gives way to the inspect view, with a mode picker in the header for Inspect, Smart Detections and Reports.
Leave a project the way you came in, via the header.
Your account
Top right, under your name: language, measurement system, and signing out. See Managing your account and preferences.
Why does my colleague see something I do not?

| Fewer rail entries | Your role does not include those areas. |
| A shorter project list | Different workspace, or you have access to fewer projects. |
| No Organization entry | You are not an organization administrator. |
| A project link that will not open | You have not been given access to that project. |
