Twinsity turns a drone or camera survey into something you can inspect from your desk: a 3D model you can navigate, with every image tied to the place it was taken, and a structured record of what you found.
This article is the map. Each step links to the detail.
1. Capture and process: outside Twinsity. You fly or walk the asset, then process the images in photogrammetry software (Agisoft Metashape, RealityScan, Bentley iTwin Capture, DJI Terra or Pix4Dmatic).
2. Export three things: the 3D tileset, the camera parameters, and the original images. The camera parameters are what let Twinsity tie each image to a place on the model. The Exporting your data section has a guide for each supported tool.
3. Upload: the wizard checks your files, shows you a preview, and uploads. See Preparing to upload a project.
4. Explore: navigate the model, open images beside it, and find every image covering a given spot. See Moving around the 3D model.
5. Record what you find: mark defects on the model or on an image, and fill in the class, severity and your team's own fields. See Adding an observation to the 3D model.
6. Review Smart Detections: if your plan includes them, go through what the AI found and turn the real ones into observations.
7. Report: generate a PDF of your findings, with images, measurements and section views. See Creating and generating a report.

Twinsity has two halves. The shell is where you find and administer things: Projects, Drafts, Profiles, and the settings pages. The inspect view is where you open a project and do the work; it has three modes, switched in the header:
Some tools only exist in one mode, so a missing button often means the wrong mode rather than a fault.
